I recently found myself on a fire escape in Long Island City.  My heels too high, my vertigo in full effect, and some creep-o construction workers below cat calling, really made for an interesting experience.  With that being said, I managed to get some good shots of this lovely thrifted white blouse, which I paired with skinny dark wash jeans (Diesel) and a floral blazer (Zara). The cap toe pumps are also from Zara.

I also just bought a cool vintage camera from the Brooklyn flea, which I decided to use as a prop in some of the photographs. (On a side note, I’ve been on a hunt to find my inner photographer and with that I decided I was going to start shooting film, hence my Yashica Minister-D camera purchase)  I must also mention that my friend (photographer) strategically decided to arrange all of her houseplants on her fire escape to make it a bit more homey (as seen above). Isn’t she sweet.

In this shot you may get a better feeling for the details on this blouse.  It is well equipped with far too many beads and dainty accents, and really looks like something you would find your grandma in. Can’t speak highly enough for it, and for a 6 dollar price tag? my bestest friend.
